In Norwegian rustic style, our hotel and guesthouse is spread across several traditional red and yellow buildings on the grounds. While we have preserved many original architectural features, the hotel’s interior has been updated with a more modern design for our guests’ comfort. You’ll find us in the charming area Granavollen, close to the Sister Churches, Glasslåven Studio and Art Center, Telthuset, and Steinhuset (The Stone House).
Reception
Our reception is open 24/7.
You’ll also find a small shop selling local food products, high-quality tea and coffee products, and curated gifts and clothes. Snacks and beverages are also available for purchase at the reception

Parking
We have a parking lot on the lower side of the hotel for our guests to use free of charge, which includes six electric car chargers. Charging cards are available at Reception. For larger vehicles, buses, and motorhomes, there is a bigger parking area located nearby.
Comfortable Rooms
We have 43 guest rooms and 64 beds in total, all with Jensen mattresses, so you can sleep in heavenly comfort. There are16 double rooms and 18 single rooms with private bathrooms/WC. We also have nine historic rooms with shared bathrooms.
Accessibility and Pet-Friendly Rooms
Two of our rooms are accessible for guests with disabilities. Furry friends are welcome, and five of our rooms are pet friendly. Please mention this when you book.

We are passionate about farm-to-fork dining and have high set ambitions regarding the quality of food served at our restaurant. Prepared with fresh locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, our kitchen creates meals that are a feast for your taste buds. From Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy a delicious 4-course dinner. The menu changes daily based on seasonal ingredients.
Outdoor Café
When the weather permits, you can eat al fresco in our outdoor area in the back yard. We also have two tables where you can enjoy the lovely views and the Sister Churches.
Breakfast
When you stay with us, you’ll enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast plate or a bountiful breakfast buffet every day. Breakfast is prepared using fresh, locally sourced, homemade, and organic products, and is served in the restaurant at the following times:
Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

How to get here
Driving:
From north or south:
Take highway 4 from Oslo or Gjøvik to Gran, and then up to Granavollen. Driving time is just over an hour from Oslo, and just under an hour from Gjøvik.
From the airport/east:
From OSL you drive to the E16 over Maura to Gran, and then up to the hotel. The driving time is 40 minutes.
From the west:
Drive E16 to Roa, and then R4 to Gran. If you want a more picturesque route, you can drive county road 240 from Jevnaker or Brandbu along the Randsfjorden to Grymyr, and then take county road 2306 to Granavollen.
Train:
Take the Gjøvik Line to Gran station, then bus 459 up to Granavollen.
